2014 KILLEEN MAYORAL AD CAMPAIGN
May 10,2014 was the Killeen Mayoral elections. As an artist I firmly believe that visual communication is key in getting a message out to the public and in this case, mission accomplished! Scott Cosper Was elected Mayor of Killeen.

I have participated in the LULAC Latino Art Festival for the last two years. Each year I have submitted an art piece in a series of works based on my lifes experience. I will submit the 3rd and final piece to this series late 2014.

My name is Antonio Medina and I'm a graphic artist from Chicago Ridge, Illinois. I grew up in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. I am a comic book collector and some of my style in art is closely related to modern comics in style and color palette. I love illustrating very intricate designs and incorporating them in to designs that I create.
I have a B.A. in Graphic Design from Saint Xavier University and an A.A.S. in Graphic Design from Moraine Valley Community College. In my educational experience I have explored all aspects of art and design. I am very experienced in the use of Photoshop and Illustrator. I also have used and studied using most of the software in the Adobe suite and Microsoft Office. In addition to software, I am able to create artwork through illustration, painting, photography, hand made designs, and costumes.

Christmas Card Design
Here is my design for the Medina Family 2020 Christmas card. Every year I design a new card that symbolizes and captures details about ourselves and our lives, feelings, events, etc.. The card went through concept, design, and coloring using Adobe Illustrator. For this years card I wanted the design and final card to be a step up from last years card so in designing it I kept the same concept of character design, but used more detail and more refined shapes. I also wanted to use the design as a sort of visual newsletter that showed what this past year has been like including major family events.
